What are the new Omnipod 5 features?
In comparison to the Omnipod DASH, Omnipod 5 is the first tubeless automated insulin delivery system. How does Omnipod 5 work?
Omnipod 5 is a tubeless automated insulin delivery system. Every 5 minutes the system will automatically increase, decrease or pause insulin delivery based on readings from a compatible CGM system. It includes the tubeless Omnipod 5 pod, the Omnipod 5 App, and a compatible CGM system. The Omnipod 5 Pod can be worn almost anywhere insulin is injected with each Pod lasting up to 3 days.
