I have had these less than a week. I replaced them twice and today they wore so bad my sensor fell off and it worked under the sensor somehow, I thought they were supposed to be secure. The other ones worked better I only had to MAYBE replace them once during a 15 day run. No happy with them at all.
Holds up better than before
The Max stays on much better than the others. I don’t have to put a new one on half way through!
It really sticks well so far. I will start swimming soon so that will be the final test. But I really like them Thank you
Not as good as Libre and Libre 2 patches. Might be not enough surface area contact with skin. Still the best patch I’ve used.

Highly Recommend!! Skin grip helps keep my freestyle Libre 3 on for the full 14 days! I used to have problems with it not staying on but Skin grips helps with that. Will definitely keep buying these.
Still on after over a week, sticks better than previous brands and comes off easier when removing. I am highly sensitive to adhesive and usually have to change the covering at least a couple times due to irritation but not with these.

Absolute game changer! All the other ones I tried were hard to get on and fell off within 3 days. These don’t move and u never have to worry about pulling my CGM off! I’ll never use a different brand!
Skin grip usually stick good for 14 days but the MAX… 2 days max with glue. Worst i ever tried!

I am new to CGMs and patches so I’ll share something I learned as a newbie. The first time I used a CGM it came off after 5 days, which is how I found my way to the patches. Next time, I put a patch on at the same time as the CGM, ready for a solid 2 weeks. But the edges starting fraying and peeling after a while and I had to add additional adhesive (lueca tape) before the cgm was up. It was a lot to manage and worry about. This time I put the cgm on and didn’t cover it up immediately. Instead I just watched the cgm and after 5 or 6 days it seemed like putting the patch on would be good. So I added the patch and now I am getting close to the end of the cgm period and the patch is still going strong. It has felt like the most maintenance free cgm period yet. In short, wait to add the patch until you have had the cgm on for several days or as suited to your activities so it will last to the end of the cgm cycle.

I have had trouble keeping the sensor on my arm. Usually knocking it off in 2-3 days. This is my first patch and it has worked like a charm. Tighter clothing slides right over the patch and showering is handled without any problem. This makes the glucose monitor experience much better. These things are not cheap and it makes it so much better when you get your money’s worth!

When I first started using a cgm a few years ago I tried a number of different brand of patches that did not last. I swim with a masters group 5 days a week, for 1 to 1.5 hours a day as well as bike, run, and strength workouts for triathlon training. And I do sweat heavily. I've also done several iron man events lasting 12 hours or more. Having a good patch is critical as replacement sensors are expensive. Since using the Skin Grip Max, with a SkinTack wipe 2 years ago, I have not had a single incident of a patch peeling, fraying, or losing a CGM since. Keys are shave any hair from the back of your arm. Wash with a lotion free anti-bacterial soap and let dry completely. Wipe thoroughly with alcohol wipe and let dry. Wipe with Skin Tack wipe and let it become tacky. Apply CGM. Apply Skin Grip Plus patch. Do not bathe, shower, swim or workout for at least 2 hours. At 15 days, they are still so secure they could last another week or more if the sensor lasted that long. And yes, I followed the same process with every other brand of patch I tried and never got more than a week out off any of them.

I’ve been working out lately and my old patch would peel to the point where my sensor would almost fall off. I had to change it 3 different times at one point. I was skeptical about this patch since it was so small, but I absolutely love it! I’ve had very minimal peeling after 2 weeks. I had to reach out to customer service for an issue (no fault to skin grip) and they were so helpful! Highly recommend.
