The Skin Grip MAX Instinct Patches are built for Instinct CGM users who need stronger adhesion than a standard overlay patch provides. Each pack contains 10 single-use patches, compatible with the Instinct, Abbott FreeStyle Libre 3, and Libre 3+. SmartGrip Technology delivers hold for up to 15 days through sweat, water, training, and daily wear. The MAX formula delivers a smaller, thinner patch than Skin Grip Original, with a no-stick center that keeps the sensor surface clean and adhesive-free. The 3-tab backing allows quick, accurate placement.

SmartGrip Technology in Skin Grip MAX
SmartGrip Technology is the proprietary adhesive formula at the core of all Skin Grip patches. In the MAX line, SmartGrip Technology is formulated at a higher adhesion level than in Skin Grip Original patches, which is what makes the MAX suited to users who need hold that outlasts standard overlay options.
The adhesive is engineered to maintain its bond through water exposure, perspiration, humidity, and the physical movement of an active wear cycle. It releases cleanly at the end of the wear period, leaving no residue on skin. Because the MAX formula is stronger than the Original, it delivers stronger hold but is not suited to sensitive skin. Users with reactive skin should use Skin Grip Original for the Instinct.
How to Apply the Skin Grip MAX Instinct Patch
1. Apply the Instinct sensor to your skin following the manufacturer's placement instructions.
2. Make sure the skin around the sensor is clean and dry. A barrier wipe applied before placement can improve adhesion for users who sweat heavily.
3. Remove the Skin Grip MAX patch from its packaging.
4. Center the patch over the sensor.
5. Peel away one tab of the 3-tab backing at a time, pressing each section firmly against skin before moving to the next.
6. Once all three tabs are removed, press around the full perimeter to ensure complete contact.
To Remove: Lift one edge gently and peel slowly in the direction of hair growth. Skin Grip Adhesive Remover Wipes are available separately.

Bought these Skin Grips to cover and hold onto my new Instinct Sensors. I work in hot weather and have been known to perspire a good deal. They are so good that I forget that I have them on, and they stay in place. Most sensor covers have a tendency to “curl” on the edges, which results in something catching a curled edge and pulling both the sensor and cover off. Not so with Skin Grips. Not ine issue.
This is the first patch I’ve used that stays secure over my Instinct sensor for the full 15 days, which says a lot given my active lifestyle!
Love the concept, so far mine looses grip about after 5 days. Then on day 14 no longer attached to my skin. Stuck to my sensor only reason tape stayed on for 14 days

Even using skin tac, my sensor would come off before. Tried the skin grip with skin tac, have not had a sensor show signs of coming off, even after the 15 day life span. I am active and sweat a lot, the skin grip tape holds tight through it all.
It covers my Instinct Sensor perfectly. I swim every day and it protects the sensor. I do need my wife’s help putting it on. Thank you !!
