These patches work well compared to the ones that come with the Dexcom 7, but they do not last the full 10 days. I'm a pretty active person, and I do lots of water sports. So, usually by day 7, the patch is curling and fraying, prompting me to replace it, which can waste 2 patches per device. That's not ideal, but overall, these are still better than others on the market.

Skin grip is the only patch that I am not allergic to. It sticks 100% until I pull it off and then it comes off easily with a pull and zero skin damage or irritation. I do use them with skin tac barrier liquid. Stays on even with sweating and swimming and doesn’t fray. But PLEASE guys, change your backing configuration. It’s terrible. So hard to peel off the remaining sections once the overlay is partially on. I have used brands with the circular configuration which is so much easier. If I wasn’t allergic, I’d switch to lexcom. That allows you to peel off a complete center ring, place it, and has a tab to remove the outer ring. Never had an issue with that method. This has me having to do a do-over every once in a while because it stuck to my fingers trying to get the backing off and then It stretched out. I probably waste 3-4 a pack. Other than that, the patch is superior to others. Also why do you charge double for the designs? Diabetes sucks enough. Hate to pay extra to have a little fun with it.

Pretty colors at the Strama turn left onto East mini assortments. Good quality product although it’s hard to stick it onto your arm or your leg because there’s no extra tab. You got a lot for your money. Definitely recommend.

I love all of your products I’ve ever tried- especially the omnipod patches, they’re a solid and reliable 5 stars. For these dexcom patches, I love the colors they come in and the way the backing peels in 4 pieces like your other patches. I also adore the shape and size of them, however, they do tend to peel up and fall off much easier than your omnipod products and other dexcom patches I’ve tried. I want to try them again and believe maybe this is a bad batch, but hopefully this feedback is helpful!

I like the size and shape but the edges are fraying or peeling, the outer edges are already lifting slightly from the skin, showing signs of wear on the 1st hours of application. I can see tiny threads or fuzz around the perimeter already which would look really old but still could last 10 days with the sensor.

I started using the dex com 7. In mid October and had to use the dressing it came with. I. Covered the dressing with saran wrap at first when showering, but after 2 days the edges started peeling up and then it eventually list its stick8ness and the dex com apparatus fell out off my arm. I tried to rape it but then adhesive from tape made a mess on my skin. So I googled different dressings to use and found skin grip ordered 2 packages one clear. One tan . I was able to keep the dexc9m on for full 10 days with the dressing remaining intact. The dressing was so easy for my husband to apply. And easy to remove. I was able to find a more efficient way of covering the dex com dressing with transparent dressing called hydro seal then aqua, guard . To protect the prior dressing. With tubular gauze stockinette. This is a great choice for diabetics . The "skin prep dressing" is far more superior than then the drssing that come with the cartridge.

Great for people with allergies as no reaction to these adhesive like with other types As you can see I have multiple patches on this to help keep my G7 patch on till I change it as I’ve had to replace 2 sensors before time as cover didn’t hold A couple of these are actually coming loose ****An improvement is to make it 2 tabs to remove instead of 4 By the time I take off 2 & stick it over, I end up pulling loose trying to get the other 2 off & they wrinkle & sticks to each other

The best patch I ever used was no more irritated skin or itching on my arm.
These patches have a fantastic grip, and stay stuck when exposed to moisture. Water (swimming and bathing), and sweat haven’t loosened the edges at all. When applying, I follow the same process as the over-patch provided by Dexcom: apply the patch, then rub around it for 10 seconds to help bond. I apply my sensor after my bath, so I ensure the site is clean and totally dry, then i avoid getting it wet for at least 12 hrs. I’m 1 day away from a sensor change, and this patch is stuck so well that I’m going to have a harder time getting it off! The only visible wear and tear is from some of the material fibers fraying, which I would expect from any adhesive product being worn for 10 days. My only complaint, and it’s a minor one that may also be more of a personal preference, is that the hole is a little too big around the sensor. I bumped my arm a couple times, and also had my shirt sleeve catch the sensor, and it felt like it might pop off because the skin grip hole is hanging right at the edge of the Dexcom’s sensor adhesive. I’m going to try the Skin Grips that completely cover the sensor to see if it gives me a more secured feel.
On my 2nd patch comes off the 20th. The 1st patch went 10 days without a problem. These patches are much better then the ones that come with the dexcom g7. I highly recommend these I will buy them again, Mack

I find that the skin grips are difficult to use by yourself. I originally purchased the camo for the G6. They worked great. It seems that they weee a different type of material than my last two orders. I then purchased the black ones for the G6 and I had an awful time trying to get them on. They were always stretched out of shape or bunched up. I now have the G7, so I thought I’d try the camo ones one last time. We’ll, they’re the same material as the black ones, and they are the same size as the patches provided by Dexcom. I used to like to put the skin grips on over the Dexcom over patch for a really secure fit. I probably will not purchase any more Skin Grips unless maybe when they make a larger patch for the G7.
This is the first time that I tried Skin Grip. Let me tell you these overlay patches are better than NOT JUST A PATCH. They do not come off or start to peel. I am so happy with this patch! Thank you Gail
ABSOLUTELY recommend these! I've stopped using the one provided with the Dexcom G7 because these are so much better! Better adhesive, better grip, less peeling, fewer issues. I even spoke with DEXCOM last week and told them their skin adhesive was horrible and I'd purchased from Skin Grip and was so much happier with this product. I don't worry about my sensor coming out any more. This picture is 5 days in our of 10. Thank you Skin Grip !!! This will be my go to from now on!

They work well but are difficult to apply. Peeling off the cellophane in four segments makes it complicated to apply. Think about only having two segments.

The whole process from ordering to delivery was seamless. The patches arrived early and work exactly as advertised. Prior to these patches my Dexcom G7 would not come off butt loosened toward the end of the 15 day wear limit. These patches help secure the CGM for the whole 15 days. The patches do fray from showering and getting in the pool but they do not come loose. I will be ordering more. Thanks

I was disappointed with how flimsy these are compared to ones I've gotten from Skin Grips in the past. It seems like they are thinner and less sturdy than they used to be, and because they're so thin, the material stretches when I'm trying to put it on, which makes it hard to position it accurately to cover the edges of the Dexcom adhesive. The Skin Grips adhesive stays pretty well on my skin, but sometimes not as well on the edges of the Dexcom adhesive, so a few times it's started to pull away around the center of the cutout so it's not actually holding down the device in certain places. They also start fraying before the 10 days are up, so they don't look that good by the time I take them off. Overall, I'm disappointed in this batch of patches. Perhaps I had gotten the Max ones before or something, but it appears that the Max are being discontinued, since they're only available as final sale now. Not sure I will be buying Skin Grips again, sadly.
